Hitec’s fastest & strongest standard size servos the "Ultra Speed" HS-7940TH and "Ultra Torque" HS-7950TH have been designed to operate on a two cell LiPo Pack. Featuring Hitecs high resolution "G2" second generation programmable digital circuit and ultra strong Titanium gears, these servos have the performance and durability you’ve come to expect from a Hitec servo. Other features include a 7.4v optimized coreless motor, integrated heat sink case, and a top case with two hardened steel gear pins supported by axial brass bushing.
The HS7940TH has been designed for applications where speed and response is demanded. Perfect for High Performance Nitro and Electric Helicopters, Aircraft, Cars, and Trucks. Featuring a blistering transit time of .07sec but still maintaining a respectable 183 in/oz of torque at 6.0 volts.
The HS7950TG has been designed for the most demanding hobby applications including the largest aircraft and monster trucks. Featuring a titanic 403oz./in. of torque at 6.0 volts, while still maintaining a respectable 0.15 second transit time
The all new, 7.4v Volt servos from Hitec offer the modeller massive speed and torque in a standard sized servo. However there are a few things to remember

There are still several receivers on the market by various companies that are still limited to 6 Volts and this could affect the application of those servos. In this case we would highly recommend the use of an in line voltage regulator.

As from July 2007,all Hitec receivers except the 2 channel HT502/504 and all Synthesized receivers are OK to work on both 6v & 7.4v.

We would recommend that you check with your receivers instruction notes if you are unsure.

These servos are very strong and require a lot of power. The 7950H is well over 4 amps. If you do need to extend the length of the servos standard wires then we would recommend the use of high grade twisted servo cables to avoid any signal lose or power supply issues.
